Alphabet’s Eric Schmidt confirms Andy Rubin’s mystery Essential handset will run Android

A few days ago, Android co-founder Andy Rubin gave us a glimpse of an upcoming device from his recently launched startup, Essential. The handset looks to offer a bezel-less design, and while not much information is known, it appears that it will in fact be running Google’s mobile OS, Android. This piece of information was revealed yesterday, and might have flown under the radar due to Samsung’s immense and highly anticipated launch of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

IFTTTは、一般的なWeb自動化プラットフォームは本日正式リリース2の新しいアップル社のサポートされているアプレットを有している:iOSのカレンダーとApp Storeのことだ。

これらのアプリケーションは両方とも、IFTTTらによって作成されたレシピが搭載されています。これらは、Appleのライバル、GoogleアシスタントやAmazonのAlexaによるiOSのカレンダーイベントを作成するレシピなどとの統合による顕著なもの(レシピ)を含む。

IFTTT Adds New Applets for iOS Calendar and App Store

IFTTT, the popular web automation platform, has two new Apple-supported applets launching today: iOS Calendar and the App Store. Both of these new applets feature recipes created by IFTTT. These include several recipes prominently featuring integrations with Apple’s competitors, such as recipes that enable creating an iOS Calendar event using Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. The applet for iOS Calendar works as you would expect, with triggers such as: The latter of these is the most interesting. It allows your trigger to fire whenever a new event contains a specific keyword or phrase.

Windows 10 Creators Update now available via Update Assistant tool

Windows 10 Creators Update is now rolling out via Windows 10 Update Assistant tool. As we reported last week, Windows 10 Update Assistant tool allows users to upgrade their current Windows 10 build to Creators Update build. As you can see in the screenshot above, if you are running any older Windows 10 build, this Upgrade Assistant tool will download and update your PC to Windows 10 build 15063. Blocking these adverts is easy enough, but you may need to change your choice of web browser to do so. Choose Opera or the Ad-block browser, for example, and you can block all ads from displaying on your phone, but even if you wish to stick with Chrome you can banish pop-up ads.
