Walmart Pay expands to 14 new states bringing the total to 33; service works on iOS, Android phones
Walmart has expanded the use of its mobile payment serviceto 14 new states. That brings the total number of states offering the service to 33. The discount retailer had previously hoped to have stores nationwide supporting Walmart Pay by the end of last month, but that goal might be pushed back until the end of the year.Thanks to the addition of these new locations, more and more Walmart customers are finding themselves using the service. But limitations on where Walmart Pay can be utilized is preventing it from scoring usage rates as high as its rivals.
