The powerful iPhone Twitter client Tweetbot 3 has just received a notable update. With version 3.6 of the app, users can now take advantage of Twitter’s new quote tweet feature. Instead of quoting the entire tweet, you’ll just see the actual URL. That will give you more space for your own thoughts. Here’s an example of what a quote tweet looks like in the app. To use the feature, you’ll need to select Standard Quote in the app’s Quote Format setting. Tweetbot is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and can be downloaded now on the App Store for $4.99.
