Wi-Fi Calling comes to Rogers Android phones
As it did with VoLTE, Rogers is taking a slow-and-steady approach to releasing a new feature across its Android lineup. That feature? Wi-Fi Calling. Already available on several iPhone models at Rogers, and from many Android phones at U.S.-based carriers, Wi-Fi calling seamlessly routes calls through a more-stable Wi-Fi network in situations when a cellular network isn’t always reliable. According to MobileSyrup, the feature will roll out starting today with the Rogers Galaxy Note 5, continuing to hit new and existing Android devices released by the carrier as the software becomes available.
