Google isn’t giving up on the Android One program just yet
A Google executive recently made it clear that Google doesn’t have any plans to end the Android One program anytime soon. Mike Hayes, director of business development at Android & Chrome partnerships, recently made it clear that Google remains committed to the Android One initiative and that a number of OEMs are still showing interest. He added, “So you should expect to see a position around what we are doing on low-end devices all the way through”. The Android One program came into existence in the year 2014, with an aim to provide an enjoyable Android experience to the masses.
