ハンディフォンアプリからいくつかの助けを借りて、対ニューヨーク市警交通警官のiPhoneを盗んだモーニングサイド・ハイツの男に逮捕され、警官を明らかにした。
マリソル・サンタナとBrianロザメルがローワー・イーストサイドのブリーカー聖地下鉄駅を巡回したベンチは12月19日で午前5時40分ごろ大丈夫だったかどうかを確認するに眠っている男が目を覚ますと、警官は言った。
人が目覚めたとき、彼はジャケット、iPhoneとキーを掴んでいたが指定されていない実感しました。
将校は、彼のデバイスを追跡するために携帯電話で「検索FindMy iPhone」アプリを使っていたら、警官たちは言った。appはW116セント、電話のハンス・マルスランに燃えた近くクレアモントAveへ連れて行った。
イーストハーレムに住むマルスランさん(41)を拘束した後、警官は彼は6人の電話があり、そのうちの1人は、その同じ日に別の犠牲者から奪ったわかったのだという。
マルスランは盗品の重窃盗と刑事所持の容疑で起訴されたという。

With some help from a handy smartphone app, a pair of NYPD transit cops arrested a man in Morningside Heights for stealing an iPhone, cops said Wednesday. Officers Marisol Santana and Brian Rothermel were patrolling the Bleecker St. subway station on the Lower East Side when they woke up a man sleeping on a bench to see if he was all right about 5:40 a.m. on Dec. 19, cops said. When the man awoke, he realized he was missing his jacket, which held his iPhone and keys. The officers used the “Find My iPhone” app on their phones to track his device, cops said. The app led them to Claremont Ave.
