HTC One (M8) Google Play edition faces a delay on receiving Android 6.0 update
HTC’s VP of product management, Mo Versi, is known for keeping HTC customers notified about software updates using his Twitter account. On Friday, he sent out a tweet that disseminated both bad news and good news for owners of the HTC One (M8) Google Play edition. The bad news is that there is a delay in updating the phone.Versi’s tweet reveals that HTC had to “re-spin” the software. The good news is that the executive expects Technical Approval for the update to take place sometime during the next few days. Once that happens, the update is good to go.
