Slow ring Insiders get first shot of Redstone 5 with Windows 10 build 17692.1004
Thus far, the next major Windows 10 feature update, codenamed Redstone 5, has only been in testing on the Fast ring. But Microsoft has a surprise in store today for those waiting in the wings of the Slow ring, with its first taste of Redstone 5 now rolling out as build number 17692.1004. Since it’s the first Redstone 5 build to hit the Slow ring, build 17692.1004 includes a slew of new features, ranging from the SwiftKey-powered on-screen keyboard and a dark theme for File Explorer to a redesigned Game Bar and more.
