Google has finally launched its Assistant-based smart speaker, Google Home and Home Mini in India. With this, the company is not just tapping on a potentially large market but also aims to take on its global competitor Amazon’s Echo in India. For those unaware, Amazon entered India with its Echo speakers few months ago and so has the first-mover advantage. The search giant’s Google Home and Google Home Mini are priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 4,499 respectively.
