Progressive web apps won’t be fully functional on Windows 10 Mobile
Progressive web apps (PWA) are regular websites that offer features similar to those found on mobile apps. To do this, the PWAs take advantage of the capabilities available on modern browsers. And while Microsoft has started added such PWAs to the Microsoft Store, the truth is that they will not be fully functional on Windows 10 Mobile powered handsets thanks to some missing parts in the mobile Edge engine.For example, the version of Edge found on Windows Mobile 10 handsets can not access service workers, which prevents users from receiving notifications in the action center.
