No more long-winded links: Chrome for Android now trims bloated URLs
Sharing links to websites can be a fairly unpleasant affair. Web addresses can get really long, particularly if websites add tracking IDs, referrers or other information to their URLs. But Chrome for Android is now taking care of this problem and making the sharing process simpler. Whenever a web address is shared, the mobile browser simply cuts all useless information from the address, as tech website Android Police points out.
