マイクロソフト社は、ウィンドウズ10のパスワードを不要にする新機能のテストを開始している。
Softpediaによると、インサイダーのプレビューリリース、ビルド・ナンバー「17093」、パスワードを「過去の遺物」にするAndroidとiOSの認証アプリケーションを利用している。
「モバイルデバイスの認証アプリケーションを使用して、どの要求を許可またはブロックすることができるとします。また、パスワードはオペレーティングシステムから完全に除去されると予想している」と報告書は述べています。
機能はウィンドウズ10に使用可能である。
報告書は、パスワード無しの経験をセットアップすることは、ユーザーがWindowsH ello、Authenticatorアプリケーションを適切に構成する必要がある旨述べました。

Microsoft testing Windows 10 without passwords
Microsoft has started testing a new feature in Windows 10 which removes the need for passwords. According to Softpedia, the latest Insider preview release, build 17093, relies on the Authenticator app on Android and iOS to render passwords “a thing of the past”. “With the Authenticator app on your mobile device, you can authorise or block any request, and Microsoft says that passwords would be removed completely from the operating system,” stated the report. The feature is also available in Windows 10 S.
