Just make sure your USB type charger (or for that matter any appliance) is rated 110 – 230 V. Almost all laptop / tablet / phone chargers are as they are switch-mode PSUs / buck-converters which can regulate efficiently down to 5 Vdc from a wide range of transformed voltage. The teeny plug incorporated charges usually switch the rectified mains input directly at high frequency so that they can use the teeniest transformers to get that 1A current output.
