この情報は、Apple自身のコードから発見されているということは、おそらく非常に正確である。
ホメポドファームウェア内に見出されるグリフはアイフォーン8のうわさ工業デザインを確認したといわれている。
著名なiOSアプリ開発者のSteve Troughton-Smithは、ファームウェアによって調べた。
有力デベロッパーはiOSで片手キーボードへの参照を見つけた–Apple社は、この秋のiOS5を11と並んで初となるまで6カ月であった。

Designer Martin Hajek has created a render of the iPhone 8, based on the latest rumours The steady stream of iPhone 8 rumours over the last year might not have been accurate as everyone thought. Firmware for the Apple HomePod, which was accidentally shared online with developers earlier this month, has revealed a slew of information about the iPhone 8. And given the information is being unearthed from Apple’s own code, it’s probably pretty accurate. Glyphs found within the HomePod firmware have already purportedly confirmed the long-rumoured industrial design of the iPhone 8.
