‘Mobile Ears’ app to assist those with hearing impairment
A recently launched app for iOS known as ‘Mobile Ears,’ uses the microphone on the smartphone or tablet to amplify the sound and reducing ambience, when having a one-on-one or group conversations. The app claims to specifically help those who suffer from mild to moderate hearing impairment (25 to 60dB hearing level). ‘Mobile Ears’ is already available for free on App Store and currently available only on iOS and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
