Appleの発表に埋もれて、小さくも重要なこと–iPhoneユーザの5および5デバイスは低温のままにしておくことにしようとしていた。
iOSが11、Appleの「iOS」の新バージョンはiPhoneの5および5C(ただし、アイフォーン5Sで動作する)などの旧モデルでは動作しません。
新OSは、9月に予定されているが、Appleが新型iPhoneをリリース-64ビットチップ(5年代以降)がインストールされているデバイスでのみ動作します。
これはiPhoneユーザー5人というのは、iOSが10になるということだ」と、新機能やセキュリティ修正用ソフトウェアの更新を受け取りません。
初代iPadの利用者は、月々4やそれ以前などにも適用されます。
同じことは、昨年のアイフォン4Sのユーザに起こった。
iOSの11のモバイル・デバイスのための無料ソフトウェア・アップデートは、9月に予定されているAppleは、新しいiPhoneがリリースされた時点である。

If you’ve got an iPhone 5, Apple is about to make it obsolete
Buried in Apple’s announcements this week was a tiny, but crucial fact – users of its popular iPhone 5 and 5C devices are about to be left in the cold. The new version of Apple’s iOS, iOS 11, will not work on older iPhones including the iPhone 5 and 5C (although it will work on iPhone 5S). The new OS is expected in September, when Apple releases new iPhones – and will only work on devices with 64-bit chips (ie iPhone 5S and later). What this will mean for iPhone 5 users is that they’ll be stuck on iOS 10 – and no longer receive software updates for new features or security fixes.
