Android Nougat Galaxy S7 Edge update – Why you don’t need the latest upgrade
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge owners might still struggling to get their hands on the latest Android software update – following the update being pulled, and delays from mobile carriers – but users will no longer have to be running Android 7.0 to get access to its best new feature. Google this week confirmed that its next-generation AI assistant, dubbed Google Assistant, will be available on all devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and 7.0 Nougat. Until now, the virtual assistant was only available on the California-based company’s flagship device, Google Pixel. But that is about to change.
