HP release Mobile Retail Solution Barcode Reader accessory for the HP Elite X3
HP has kept its promise regarding supporting the extensibility of the HP Elite X3. They have released the HP Elite x3 Mobile Retail Solution backpack for the handset, which adds a dedicated barcode scanner to the device, and from the looks of it adds further durability to the already rugged device. The scanner is able to read 1D, PDF,2D, and Postal symbologies and communicate at full USB speed through the pogo pins at the lower back of the handset at up to 16 inch distance.
