Microsoft announces the private preview of StorSimple Data Transformation
Microsoft recently announced a new managed service called StorSimple Data Transformation. This new service will allow customers to convert their data from StorSimple format to Azure blobs. Once the data is in Azure, they can use an Azure service such as Azure Media Services, Azure HDInsight, or Azure Machine Learning to process this data. Using StorSimple Data Transformation, files that you put into your StorSimple on-premises volumes will be converted to Azure blobs. Each file will reside as a blob in your storage account.
