Apple’s Latest Patent Hints at Bendable iPhone
If it seems like over a decade ago that we were showing off our flip phones, that’s because it was. But the old-school trend does seem to have some staying power. According to CNET, the US Patent and Trademark Office granted Apple a patent this week that seems like it could enhance your user experience two-fold. Their patent’s blueprint resembles a standard iPhone, but with a hinge down the center. The display is flexible, as well — a far cry from the projected prone-to-cracking glass we might see in the iPhone 8 next year.
