Apple announces new ‘TV’ app for tvOS and iOS
This morning, Apple announced a new app for Apple TV, simply called ‘TV’. The application allows for curation of different streaming applications like HBO GO, HULU, and others, as well as new interactive features such as Twitter for live sports. Much like on Netflix, users can use ‘Watch Now’ to keep up to date on their favorite shows, continuing where they left off across any of their Apple devices. The new app automatically launches the specific app that the show is hosted on, so users can access one single application on their TV before actually deciding what to watch.
