Microsoft talks about emoji development in Windows 10 Anniversary Update
All OS upgrades come with new emoji today, and Microsoft’s Windows 10 Anniversary Update is no exception. The update comes with over 52, 000 new emoji (this includes both modifiers and gender combinations) in the OS – although not all display in the keyboard. In a blog post on Microsoft’s official Windows Blog, the firm detailed the process behind the design of the new emoji and the process of adopting the Unicode specification for Windows.
