Rainbow flag and more gender-diverse emoji coming to Apple’s iOS 10
With all of the tweaks coming to Apple’s iOS 10 this fall, let’s just slap a thumbs up or a heart or a smiley face on the news that more than 100 new and redesigned emoji characters will be available to iPhone and iPad users. Apple announced Monday that the update will bring more gender options to existing characters. This will include new female athletes and professionals and redesigns of existing characters. If you’re honest like us, perhaps you’ll admit that you can’t connect a lot of the emoji flags to the country they represent.
