Sets might not be coming with Redstone 4

Windows Timeline and Sets are two major features people are looking forward to and while we just reported about Windows Timeline coming with the next build, it seems Sets might take more time. Windows Insider team showcased Windows Timeline during their Webcast and also confirmed that Sets won’t make it to Redstone 4. While Windows Timeline allows users to sync their recent work across devices and integrate them perfectly, Sets allowed users to pin different apps like Office apps, UWP apps, even Win32 apps and websites under one window like tabs in a web browser.

Microsoft releases Seeing AI app v2.0 with currency recognition and more

Earlier this year, Microsoft released a new app called Seeing AI that changes the lives of blind and low vision community. This app uses the power of AI to describe nearby people, text and objects. Blind and low vision community people can just hold up their phone and hear information about the world around them. Yesterday, Microsoft announced Seeing AI v2.0 app with several new features and expanded availability. First of all, Seeing AI app is now available in 35 countries, including the European Union.

Microsoft begins winding down music sales from the Microsoft Store

Microsoft is beginning the first step of winding down its music sales and streaming services. Now, the Microsoft Store has been updated to remove the music section completely for Insiders, On these store builds, you now aren’t able to purchase music from the Store anymore. Microsft announced its upcoming shutdown on Groove earlier this year. The firm advised Windows users to migrate their collection from Groove to Spotify. This update also restores some fluent design features to Windows 10 Mobile users and rearranges the layout of the Store app slightly.

• 欠落しているAndroidデバイスのモニターおよびDB?

Android Studioの3.0.1を使っており、Android Device MonitorまたはA DBを使用する必要はありません。ビデオでAndroid Device Monitorを開く「AVC Manager」の横にあるボタンが見えますが私にはありません。

「ツール」>「Android-Android Device Monitor」の下のメニュー内に見つかりましたが、起動しようとすると、エラーが発生します(コピーおよび貼り付けできませんポップアップ)を取得し、起動に失敗します。

私はAndroid Device MonitorのGoogle検索しましたが、Android Studio Administratorとします。同じエラーが発生したという罪で裁かれるを示唆する結果を得た。

次に、実行可能ファイルを追跡します。C:¥Users¥xxx>¥AppData¥Local¥Android¥Sdk¥tools¥lib¥monitor¥x86¥monitor.exe

Missing Android Device Monitor and adb?

I am using Android Studio 3.0.1 and have not needed to use the Android Device Monitor or adb yet. In the video it looks like there should be a button next to the “AVC Manager” that opens the Android Device Monitor but it is not there for me. I did find it in the menus under Tools -> Android -> Android Device Monitor, but when I try to launch it I get an error (in a popup that won’t let me copy and paste) and it fails to start. I did a google search for Android Device Monitor issues and found a result that suggested running Android Studio as Administrator. Tried that got the same error.

invalidEGLImage using samplerExternalOES on Android

I have an issue using samplerExternalOES on an Android all-in-one S900 VR device with G6230 GPU. I need to display a video texture in openGL scene. To do this I specify a SurfaceTexture as the output of the Media Player (VLC in my case) and get the textureID which I want to bind in openGL. I get the following error in the log: On phones (Samsung S5 for example) this error doesn’t appear and all works fine. if I replace by sampler2D the error disapears but the image is like random with a lot of white dots.

Criteo stock plunges on lowered outlook following Apple’s iOS update

Shares of ad-retargeting firm Criteo S.A. CRTO, -23.07% fell 12% in premarket trading Thursday after the company dramatically lowered its 2018 revenue forecast due to changes Apple Inc. AAPL, +0.27% made to its mobile operating system. Apple’s new iOS 11.2 software “disables the solution that some companies in the advertising ecosystem, including Criteo, currently use to reach Safari users,” according to a release from Criteo. The company projects this change to reduce 2018 revenue by 22%, excluding traffic acquisition costs, if the firm can’t effectively work within the new iOS landscape.

Why Microsoft needs to release a new Surface Dock — now

Before criticizing the dock, consider the limitations of the surface charging port. Some of these limits are due to limitations of the Surface hardware. If a better dock can be made, great, but you should research (and tell us) if the Surface Book 2 hardware connecting to the surface charging port supports Thunderbolt 3, or >102 Watts power, or two 4K displays. If it does these things, then you are correct in requesting a new dock – having this information about the Surface book 2 hardware will strengthen your case.

Windows 10 Feedback Hub picks up comment reply feature

Microsoft recently pushed out an update for the Feedback Hub on both Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, adding in a new comment reply for Fast Ring Windows Insiders (via Aggiornamenti Lumia.) This much-needed feature was long requested by Windows Insiders, helping make the Feedback Hub a social hub for users to communicate about issues with Windows 10. Along with the usual bug and other fixes, the reply feature is rolling out to Fast Ring Windows Insiders in version 1.1711.3412.0, and you can expect it to come to the other rings soon.

December Patch Tuesday updates now available for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile

Microsoft has just released new Patch Tuesday updates for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, which bring another series of quality fixes for all shipping versions of the OS. If you’re running the Fall Creators Update on your PC, today’s update should appear as “KB4054517” In Windows Update, and it will bump the build number to 16299.125. The changelog isn’t very long this month, but there are some important fixes for the Windows 10 touch keyboard, bluetooth, Windows Defender and more.
