Appleでも、最近ApplePayが現金をiPhoneにもたらした新しいiOS11.2ソフトウェアアップデートをリリースした。今やAppleはApple Watchの新しいwatchOS2 4.2ソフトウェアアップデートをリリースした。

AppleのwatchOS2 4.2アップデートには新しい機能が加わって「Apple Watch」されます。これには、デバイスに新しいApple Payキャッシュをサポートしています。今のところ米国内でしか利用できないが、AppleのApple Pay現金は近いうちに国に公開する予定だ。

iPhoneでApple Watchアプリとデバイス上の新しいwatchOS2で4.2のソフトウェア更新プログラムをインストールできます。これにより、「一般」>「ソフトウェアをアップデート」の順にクリックして行うことができます。また、Apple Watchが50%以上残った更新をインストールするには電池が必要になります。

Apple releases watchOS 4.2, includes Apple Pay Cash service for Apple Watch

You can now use your Apple Watch to send and receive money via the new Apple Pay Cash service. Apple on Tuesday launched watchOS 4.2 for the Apple Watch, allowing for this feature. The final release comes after four beta builds were issued to developers and public testers. Apple Pay Cash began rolling out on iOS devices on Monday. The Apple Pay Cash service can be found via a button within Messages. Here, users can quickly authorize and send payments from their Apple Watch without needing to use an iPhone. The release is identified as Build 15S102.

Facebook’s popular messaging service Facebook Messenger appears to be down for many users, with reports from around the world. The issue appears to have started about an hour ago, and appears to be worldwide, according to DownDetector but not affecting everyone. WhatsApp updates on Windows 10 Mobile with new emoji

The official WhatsApp app has updated on Windows phones to Version 2.17.334. This update adds the new emoticons, which had been tested within the Beta version of the app, along with the new ability to draw on and add emoticons to images before sending them in a conversation. Gmail updated to support iPhone X and third-party accounts

Google has pushed out an update for Gmail on iOS that will support the iPhone X and third-party accounts. Gmail is the last piece of the puzzle to fall for Google in its support for the iPhone X’s bigger 5.8-inch display. Google was uncharacteristically slow to update its apps, waiting many weeks to roll out updates for its Docs suite and Google Maps. The last hold out was Gmail. The update also comes with added support for third party accounts.

How answer calls on your iPhone instead of your Bluetooth speaker

If you have a Bluetooth speaker with an internal microphone, then it can indeed make and answer calls for you. In fact, if you Call Audio Routing is set to “Automatic” on your iPhone (which it is by default), it’ll always go straight to the speaker. If you’d rather that not happen, here’s how to change it. So far, there is no way to automatically route things to the iPhone’s earpiece, so you’ll have to settle for speakerphone and then tap the button to turn it off every time. Google releases Android 8.1 Oreo for Pixel, Nexus devices

Google on Tuesday began rolling out the final version of Android 8.1 to Pixel and Nexus device owners, bringing minor updates to the Oreo platform. Google said more devices will receive the update soon. Android 8.1, which has been available in beta testing for a month, includes the Neural Networks API that allows the new Pixel 2 to take advantage of the “Pixel Visual Core” SOC. It enhances Google’s photo apps to run faster and will allow third-party photography apps to take HDR+ quality images. Android 8.

Ionic Silent Alarm Android/Windows

I have the silent alarm set up on my Charge 2, but when I tried to set it up on the new Ionic I just bought, the option isn’t listed on the menu. All the software is up to date. I’ve tried restarting everything, but nothing has worked. I’ve even tried to set it up on my Windows laptop. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it? The Ionic guide states that it is an option. I have also deleted the Silent alarm on the Charge 2 in case you can’t have it set up on more than one Fitbit and that didn’t work either. iOS 11 Adoption Now at 59 Percent

iOS 11 is now installed on 59 percent of iOS devices, according to new statistics Apple shared this week on its App Store support page for developers. That’s up from 52 percent on November 6, indicating iOS 11 adoption has grown just 7 percentage points over the course of the last month. iOS 11 adoption has been slower than iOS 10 adoption. Based on Apple’s official App Store numbers, for example, iOS 10 was installed on 54 percent of devices in October, a month after the operating system had been released.
