Watch YouTube videos on Xbox One X in 4K & 8K with this app

The MyTube Beta app has just updated to allow 1440p, 4K, and 8K video streaming on Microsoft’s newly released Xbox One X console. MyTube Beta is, as its name suggests, the beta version of the main MyTube app that’s used for testing features to a smaller group of users. Most of the features tested in the beta app are eventually pushed out to the regular MyTube app which means that all users should soon have a 1440p, 4K, and 8K YouTube experience on their Xbox One X.

Xbox One joins Windows 10 Mobile & PC with a Store update

Apple has finally fixed the annoying iPhone autocorrect ‘i’ bug after a raft of complaints with the release of another iOS update. iPhone users have expressed their frustrations over the bug which automatically changes the letter ‘i’ to an incomprehensible symbol, inundating Apple’s support team with complaints. The problem is affecting iPhone and iPad users who downloaded the new iOS 11.1, which coincided with the launch of the flagship iPhone X smartphone. Apple initially gave customers who complained a temporary workaround, but has now released a permanent fix with an iOS 11.1.1 update.

Latest iOS update fixes A[?] glitch on Apple devices

Apple pushed out an update to its iOS 11 operating system Thursday that promised to fix the glitch that replaces the letter “i” with the letter “A.” The update also fixed an issue that caused the “Hey Siri” function to stop working. Tracking Protection on Firefox Focus for iOS

Firefox Focus’ Tracking Protection blocks trackers that follow you across multiple websites. When Firefox Focus is actively blocking trackers, it will show a shield in the address bar and the number of trackers blocked on that page: If the shield has a line through it , the web page has trackers but Tracking Protection is off (Firefox Focus is not blocking them). If you turn Tracking Protection off, it will remain off until you close Firefox Focus. Tap the shield to open the Tracking Protection panel.

Block iOS Updates

we have a customer who wants to disable iOS updates by default and only wants to force the update when the developer of the company permit it. The customer doesn’t use SMC at the moment and would use the newest version if he decides to buy it. I could not find an option for blocking the update in the administration manual and could only find this 2y old post regarding the topic: https://community.sophos.

Windows 10 Microsoft Store app picks up more acrylic Fluent Design in latest Insiders update

The Fluent Design system is obviously the next big thing for Microsoft, and the company is working hard to spread it to core areas of Windows 10. In the footsteps of a Store update on Windows 10 Mobile, the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 PC for Windows Insiders also picked up some more Fluent Design acrylic looks. On both a Fast Ring and Release Preview Ring PC, we’re seeing the changes via a version 11710.1001.13.0 update. New in this version is some more visible acrylic effect on app pages, specifically in the area where the title and developer information is listed.
