Windows 10’s “Continue on PC” app arrives on iOS

In Windows 10 build 16251 Microsoft added a new feature dubbed “Continue on PC”. It’s a continuity feature, in which a task on a mobile device, such as Android or iOS, can be carried over and continued on to a Windows 10 PC. Take a look at the feature in action as our very own Cody Carson explains it: Now, the “Continue on PC” app for iOS is available from the App Store. Upon installation, opening the app shows a selection of slides on how the process works, and from then on you won’t need to open the app.

Card transactions at ATMs are falling as more people tap their cards or phones to pay in shops ALAMY When the world’s first cash machine opened for business in north London on June 27, 1967, it was different to the ATM (automated teller machine) of today. For starters, it didn’t accept a plastic card as ID, relying instead on Barclays paper vouchers issued to trusted customers. It was 1972 before an ATM operated with a plastic card was introduced by Lloyds Bank, again in the UK. Ulster Bank introduced the Republic’s first cash machine, in Dublin’s O’Connell Street, in 1968.

Sales of Apple’s iPhone have nosedived in recent months as fans hold off replacing their smartphones before a radically redesigned model is launched later this year. The iPhone 8 is attracting considerable hype, with several analysts predicting that it could drive a new “supercycle” in sales. Among the expected features of the new iPhone are an edge-to-edge glass display, facial-recognition technology, the elimination of the home button, wireless charging and augmented- reality capabilities.

CortanaのAndroidバージョンは最近マイクロソフト社からいくらかの注目を浴びてきており、現在は同社のバーチャルアシスタントに別の更新をリリースしました。Cortanaを2.9とすれば、Microsoftはインタフェースが何をもたらすだけでなく、新しい機能を追加します。

リデザインはたいしたことではないが、それは良い方向に移動され、設定が簡単にアクセス・インタフェースは、3ではなく2のタブに縮小され、ラベルが付されたよ!しかしそれで終わらない。

アプリケーションの全体的な外観がより少ない。ハンバーガーメニューの導入は他のアプリを見て薄ら状況は遥かに直観的です。設計の利益および将来のタブがあります。以前のバージョンでの動作よりも解釈もしやすくなります。

新機能の中には、Cortana2.9はハンズフリー通話とテキスト・メッセージが含まれます。

Google PlayでAndroid向け音声アシスタント「Cortana」をダウンロードする方は既にインストールされている場合、アップデートを確認し、最新バージョンであることを確認するだけです。

Microsoft updates Cortana for Android with new look and new features

The Android version of Cortana has been getting some attention from Microsoft recently, and today the company has released another update to its virtual assistant. With Cortana 2.9, Microsoft not only introduces something of an interface makeover, but also adds new features. While the redesign is nothing major, it is a move for the better, with Settings now easier to access and the interface is reduced to two tabs rather than three — and they are now labelled too! But it doesn’t end there. The overall look of the app is now cleaner than before.

Microsoftが「Lumia」ブランドを殺害したとして、同社はウィンドウズ10のカメラアプリで「Lumia」シリーズのカメラを交換してください。「Lumia」シリーズのカメラおよびカメラの特徴及びラジアル制御の点で同一である。Lumia Camera意匠特許だけでなく、HMDは、Microsoft Mobileの500意匠特許を得ている。

HMDはPlay StoreにAndroidスマートフォン向けアプリを公開することもできます。Windows Phoneのシェアは0.1%となる一方、Nokiaのスマートフォン市場では稼働しています。

すべてのWindowsデバイス10がデフォルトでインストールされているWindows Cameraアプリを持っていますよね。明らかに2以上のアップスとの間の大きな違いは見られなかったが,Windows Phone専用の機能をAndroidに寂しいですね。

Not Windows 10 Mobile but Android to soon get the Lumia Camera UI

Lumia Camera is now coming to Android smartphones, starting with Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8. HMD has recently got the Lumia Camera design patent from Microsoft. Lumia Camera was a popular camera app developed exclusively for Windows Phones. The app had an advanced interface. As Microsoft killed the Lumia brand, the company later replaced the Lumia Camera with Windows Camera app on Windows 10. Lumia Camera and Windows Camera is same in terms of features and radial controls. Not only the Lumia Camera design patent, HMD has also got 500 design patents from Microsoft Mobile.

ミツバは『ウィンドウズ10』で入手できる最もいいYouTubeアプリといわれています。アプリケーションは、その美しいUIが含まれており、ウィンドウズ10搭載PC、モバイル、Xbox Oneとしても機能します。アプリケーションはかなり膨大なアップデート、最近アプリを折った部分的な修正を拾った。

何か別の作業中に最新のアップデートでミツバに対する新しいピクチャ・イン・ピクチャ・モードは、YouTubeのビデオを見ることができてしまいました。ミツバにピクチャーインピクチャーモードは、ウィンドウズ10にコンパクトフェラーAPIを使用していますので、お好きな場所では、ディスプレイの周囲をドラッグし、配置することができます。ですので、とてもすばらしい。

今日のアップデートに伴ってミツバするもう一つの重要な追加は、新しいTVモードである。TVモードをイネーブルにすると、Xbox Oneのウィンドウズ10をOS上にアプリのUIが体験できるようになります。この機能は、小さなディスプレイを有する場合非常に有用だが、大きなモニターがミツバで新しいテレビモードを楽しんでいるかもしれない。

Windows 10’s best YouTube app just got support for picture-in-picture, and a new TV mode

MyTube is arguably the best YouTube app you can get in Windows 10. The app includes a beautiful user-interface and works across Windows 10 PCs, Mobile, and even the Xbox One. The app today picked up a pretty huge update, along with a crucial fix that partly broke the app recently. There’s now a new picture-in-picture mode for MyTube with the latest update, which means you can now watch YouTube videos while you are working on something else. The picture-in-picture mode on MyTube uses the CompactOverlay API in Windows 10, so you can drag it around your display and place it wherever you’d like.

Microsoft loves iPhone? Continue on PC app comes to iOS but not for Windows 10 Mobile

Microsoft recently released a new preview update for Windows 10 PCs on the Windows Insider program. The update had introduced a new feature that connects Android smartphones to Windows 10 PCs. Microsoft also promised to bring the app to the App Store for iPhone. Continue on PC app for iOS devices is now available for download. Today, Microsoft explained how the feature works on iPhone in the updated blog post. To use the Continue on PC feature, you will need to install the ‘Continue on PC’ app on your iPhone.
