Apple Releases Minor watchOS 3.2.3 Update for Apple Watch

Apple today released a new software update for the Apple Watch, upgrading watchOS 3.2.2 to watchOS 3.2.3. The watchOS 3.2.3 update comes two months after the release of watchOS 3.2.2 , which introduced bug fixes.watchOS 3.2.3 can be downloaded through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General –> Software Update. To install the update, the Apple Watch must have 50 percent battery, it must be placed on the charger, and it must be in range of the iPhone.

Apple officially unveiled iOS 11 in June, and it is currently in beta testing to both registered developers and members of the public beta program. At the same time, Apple also made available watchOS 3.2.3 and tvOS 10.2.2 for the Apple Watch and Apple TV respectively. Much like the iOS update, both of those new software versions just feature minor changes. Both watchOS 4 and tvOS 11 will officially arrive in the fall.

Apple Releases watchOS 3.2.3 with Bug Fixes

Along with iOS 10.3.3, Apple released watchOS 3.2.3 on Wednesday for the original Apple Watch, along with Apple Watch Series 1 and 2. The 3.2.3 update includes bug fixes, but not much else. If you’re hoping for cool new features you’ll have to wait until this fall when watchOS 4 ships. To install watchOS 3.2.3 launch the Watch app on your iPhone and go to the My Watch tab. Then tap General > Software Update to see and install the new version. Your Apple Watch will need a WiFi connection and will need to be in its charger, too, with at least a 50% charge.

Asus ZenWatch 2 also getting Android Wear 2.0

It’s no secret that Google has experienced significant delays with launching Android Wear 2.0. When Asus promised that the Zenwatch 2 and 3 would get Android Wear 2.0 in early Q2, it took Asus until the beginning of Q3 to finally get the update for the Zentwatch 3, which just came out. Today, the Zenwatch 2 is also getting the update, well, at least the 49mm version. Users on Reddit and Google’s product forums have confirmed the update’s arrival. There is even a list of instructions on how to force the update if you just can’t wait for the update to hit your wearable.
