GroupMe for iOS updated with new poll feature

GroupMe app for iOS devices was updated recently in App Store. This update comes with a brand new feature: Polls. If your group need to decide on something, you can use this new poll feature. Polls can be added like any other attachment during the conversations. Also, the polls are listed in the group tray. Apart from the new polls feature, GroupMe team has updated the Bright theme to improve readability. This update also includes minor bug fixes and improvements. You can download it from Apple’s App Store here. This new poll feature is now available for Windows and Android devices as well.

Microsoft’s OneNote app gets a massive revamp on iOS devices

The official OneNote iOS app has just updated with a major visual redesign designed to increase usability and help users access their notes faster. “Experience the re-designed look and feel of OneNote,” the official release notes read. “It’s easier than ever to organize your notes with an improved layout. Microsoft kicks off Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Bug Bash

Microsoft is kicking off their first Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, asking insiders to hunt bugs in Insider Preview Builds 16193 for PC and Build 15213 for Mobile. The Bug Bash is asking Insiders to look at some of the following elements: The Bug Bash runs from May 15th through to 11:59pm on Sunday May 21st. Insiders are asked to try all the Quests in the Feedback Hub and Microsoft will be running two webcasts on their Windows Insider Beam Channel on Thursday May 18th on 10:00am – 11:30am (Pacific Time) and 5:00pm – 6:30pm (Pacific Time).

Apple’s stock price target gets a boost on increased iPhone sales estimates

Apple Inc. AAPL, -0.23% stock price target was raised at Canaccord Genuity, citing increased estimates for iPhone sales. Analyst T. Michael Walkley lifted his target to $180, which is 16% above current levels, from $165. He increased his fiscal 2018 iPhone unit sales estimates to 248 million from 242 million. We anticipate a stronger upgrade cycle in C2018 with the 10-year anniversary iPhone 8, as our surveys indicate strong consumer interest in and anticipation for new iPhones anticipated to launch in September,” Walkley wrote in a note to clients.

iPhone 8 screen, Touch ID changes hinted at in new patents

Speculation about the newest iPhone is never in short supply, and a pair of new patents just added more fuel to the rumor fire. In a wave of Apple patents published by the US Patent and Trademark Office Tuesday, and spotted by Patently Apple, two could potentially relate to the iPhone 8, which is expected later this year. The first is for an edge-to-edge display, and describes how a flat screen can wrap around the edge of a device to maximize the areas devoted to display and touch sensitivity.
