今のところ、FacebookのIMアプリにはWhatsApp、MessengerのiOSアプリに新たなアップデートを発表している。iOSのWhatsAppの最新アップデートでは、Appleの仮想アシスタント「Siri」が統合されています。興味深いことだが、ユーザーがSiriは視覚に障害があると、運転などのような状況で用いることがまた有益である新たなメッセージを読み出すことを要求することができる。

ユーザは、通常の「Siri」コマンドを入力し、WhatsAppの最新メッセージを読むために依頼して、WhatsAppの設定メニューでこの機能をアクティブにすることができます。それには、ユーザーは「Siri」を使用して、メッセージに返信することもできる。

iOS向け「WhatsApp」の最新版はさきほどApp Storeでダウンロードできますが、残念ながら、この新機能はiOSの10.3日から稼動しているデバイスでのみ動作します。

Latest WhatsApp Update for iOS Integrates Siri and Reads Out New Messages

Right now, the Facebook-owned IM app, WhatsApp Messenger has rolled out a new update to its iOS app. The latest update of WhatsApp for iOS integrates Apple’s virtual assistant Siri within it. Interestingly, now users can ask Siri to read out new messages which will be helpful for the visually impaired and also in situations like driving, etc. The users can activate this feature in WhatsApp’s settings menu with usual “Hey Siri” command and then asking it to read the latest messages on WhatsApp. Besides that, the users can also reply to messages using Siri, too.

It’s very similar to what you get if you go to your phone gallery and press share. You can choose apps you have on your phone, mostly social media, but also send via email or message. It will share your main tile (the one with calories, steps, active minutes, whatever you have on it). You can pick one of three color modes or get them in a smaller version on any picture you have or take. Edit: It won’t share just by clicking it, so feel free to click it and look at it, maybe send yourself an e-mail to see how it looks when shared. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.

Microsoftは20日、『ウィンドウズ10』の作成者の更新をモバイルデバイス向けWindows Insiderプログラムのリリース・プレビューリングであったが、同社は19日に発表するCreators Updateの展開を開始する予定だったが、現在は「Windows Insider」プログラムに参加していない場合は、作成更新についてもう少し長く待つ必要があるのかということについては、リリース・プレビューリングで、Windows Insiderのメンバーに対してそれを放出するのですね。

ウィンドウズ10を搭載したモバイルデバイスに作成更新に伴う別の落とし穴がWindows Phoneデバイスがアップデートを手に入れているわけではない。マイクロソフト社が最近発表した通り、『ウィンドウズ10』がモバイルデバイスによってのみ作成更新-次に掲げる業務を提供しようとします。

Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update comes to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring

Microsoft is today bringing the Windows 10 Creators Update to the Windows Insider program’s Release Preview ring for Mobile devices. The company was supposed to start rolling out the Creators Update to the public today, but it’s instead of releasing it to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring for now which means if you are not part of the Windows Insider program, you will have to wait a bit longer for the Creators Update. There’s another catch with the Creators Update on Windows 10 Mobile devices: not all Windows Phone devices are getting the update.

Best SIM card for my unlocked iPhone 6S

Best SIM card for my unlocked iPhone 6S Heading to Oz and trying to figure out which SIM card would work best for my needs. I don’t plan on using too many minutes, but a phone call here and there will be good. I mainly want to card for data. Through my booking on Airbnb, they sent me an offer through Optus for a $10 prepaid SIM card in which I get 500 MB data/day and unlimited national talk (I probably wouldn’t need to call international unless it was an emergency). I would pay $2 a day to get this coverage. Does anyone have experience with this company? Any other SIM cards I should consider.

Spotify took its sweet time getting Behind the Lyrics on Android

According to an announcement from Spotify, Behind the Lyrics has “just landed” on Android. If you, devoted Android user, feel like you’ve been left out of the music trivia party, Spotify suggests the best way to check out the feature is to jump into their curated Behind the Lyrics: Hip Hop and Today’s Top Hits playlists, which include artists’ notes, fun facts and other lyrical excerpts. They’re also doing a promo around the release of R&B star Khalid’s latest album American Teen. “You listen to a record, and you interpret it your own way,” the 19-year-old Khalid said.

Keynote, Numbers, Pages iWork apps updated for both macOS and iOS

On Tuesday, Apple updated its Pages, Numbers, and Keynote applications for iOS and macOS, with the biggest addition being a numeric keypad for Numbers users on the iPad. In the first software update after Apple made the suite free to all , improvements appear limited mostly to stability and performance improvements, according to Apple.The major addition to the suite is a numeric keypad feature added to the in-app keyboard for the iPad in Numbers, which should reduce the need to switch keyboards while entering data in a spreadsheet.

An iOS Control Center bug plaguing some Apple customers is causing some iPhones to freeze and restart. It happens when you tap any three buttons in the Control Center at once. iOS versions affected by this include iOS 10 and even the latest iOS 10.3.2 beta. Here’s what you need to know. To replicate the issue, pull up Control Center and try tapping Calculator, AirDrop and Night Shift at the same time. Or any combination of three buttons. Websites like 9To5Mac and others report that it causes their iPhones to freeze, then “re-spring.” In some cases, you may even have to manually restart it.
