Google staff have created an iPhone-only app to watch YouTube videos with your friends

Google’s famous ’20 percent time’ – where employees could spend the equivalent of one day a week working on a side project of their own choosing – has led to some pretty impressive results, including Gmail, Google Maps and the company’s ad network Adsense. The latest creation to emerge from the program is an app called Uptime, designed to allow people to watch YouTube videos with remote friends, adding real-time comments and reactions. Somewhat surprisingly, from the company behind Android, the app is currently iPhone-only.

Pokemon Go down: Unable to authenticate server error hit popular Android and Apple app

Pokemon Go is down for PTC users tonight Pokemon Go is down for many users, the outage looks to have started around 11pm tonight. It appears that while some users have been managed to get online tonight, while others using PTC accounts are the ones encountering issues. “It appears that the PTC login server is down for me as well,” one trainer wrote. “Sad day. Difficult for me to explain to my 4 year old that he can’t play. Hopefully they’ll get it back up soon. “My account is Google, but my son’s is PTC. Mine is fine.

Google briefly broke ‘Droid Pay with last week’s Android update

Last week’s Android security update broke Android’s Pay for some Nexus 6 users, so it was pulled and re-posted. We’ll probably never know whether the issue would have affected users on non-Google devices because it takes a while for new firmware to wend its way through the alleys of the Android ecosystem, but Nexus 6 users were quick to vent on Reddit about their broken Android Pay. The issue landed as a bug report, and on March 9, a Googler said developers had been assigned to fix the issue. Both Android Sage and Android Police noted the disappearance and re-appearance of the N6F26U image.

Apple Releases iOS 10.3 Beta 6 to Registered Developers

In iOS 10.3, AirPods owners can track down one or both of their lost earbuds. The major addition in the update should be music to any AirPods owners ears. The Find my iPhone app has been updated to allow users to track down a lost AirPod by reporting each earbuds last known location. If in range, you can also have each earbud play a sound to help locate it, much like numerous Bluetooth trackers on the market. We’ll let you know if any other new features have been discovered in this beta version. The new iOS software, along with tvOS 10.2 and watchOS 3.

iOS app disconnects regularly

Hi there, At my home we use three connects, a bridge I believe and a play 3. This system has been working for a couple of years, with all the connects connected through a cable for an optimal connection. Since a couple of months on all our iphones the sonos app keeps disconnecting from the sonos system, for anywhere between 20 and 60 seconds before it “decides” to be connected again. I say decides because the message we get is that we have to connect to a wifi network to set up a sonos system.
