According to Neowin, Dell’s Canvas 27 is now available for pre-order. The Dell Canvas 27 offers a similar experience like the Surface Studio. However, the Canvas is a supplement to your PC, instead of being an all-in-one Windows 10 PC like the Surface Studio. The Canvas also has its own pen, as well as its own version of the Surface Dial, called the “ring totem.” Take a video look at what you can do with the Dell Canvas 27. MyTube Beta for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile updated with new features

Ryken developers have pushed out another new update for its MyTube Beta app for Windows 10 PCs and Windows 10 Mobile. The latest update comes with fixes to the API usage and more. The app has been bumped to new version 3.1.1.0 and comes fixes for the Beta application on all devices. The Developer team has fixed issues with the recommended video list along with fixes to the bookmarked playlists which did not work on the second load. There are fixes also to the live tile loading along with settings popups visuals while trying to enable blur effects.

Lenovo switches to stock Android for all future smartphones

Lenovo is canning its Vibe Pure UI Android skin in favor of the stock version of Google’s mobile OS for its future smartphones, starting with the upcoming K8 Note, according to an interview from Gadgets 360 with Anuj Sharma, Lenovo India’s head of marketing. According to Sharma, the move to stock was largely motivated by the simple fact that customers were asking for the unaltered version of Android, preferring it to Lenovo’s own skinned UI.

Microsoft is rolling out the Windows 10 Mobile Insider build 15237 to Fast Ring Insiders today, and unlike the previous one this new release doesn’t bring any new features to play with. However, there is an interesting list of improvements including a fix for Continuum and another fix for an SD card issue on the HP Elite x3. There are also some known issues to be aware of, including a Continuum bug on the HP Elite x3 and another issue with apps saved on SD cards.

Are you getting error 80070057 when updating apps on Windows 10 Mobile? Microsoft has confirmed this new bug in a blog post. Earlier the users weren’t able to update the apps stored in the SD Card on Windows 10 Mobile. The solution was to move the apps from SD Card to Phone’s internal storage. However, if you are getting error 80070057 when updating apps on the Windows Store, Microsoft has published the workaround. It might be painful as you will need to reinstall almost all apps installed on your phone. Microsoft is working to fix the bug and hopefully, the upcoming build will have the fix.

The iPhone 8 might have a fancy new ‘SmartCamera’

Apple’s HomePod smart speaker contains code that may offer a hint as to what’s to come in the iPhone 8. The code, uncovered by a developer named Guilherme Rambo and spotted by MacRumors, points to a new “SmartCamera” function that may appear on the new iPhone. Rambo noticed strings referencing different settings for fireworks, foliage, pets, the sky, QR codes, snow, sports, sunrise and sunsets and more. It suggests that the iPhone 8 may be able to automatically change its own settings to capture the best picture based on an environment.

OTTAWA — Several styles of liquid-filled iPhone cases are being recalled due to reports of skin irritation and burns if they crack or break open. Health Canada says 16 styles of cases, which such names as Star Glitter and Leopard Snow Globe, contain liquid and glitter that float in the plastic case. If the cases break open or crack, the liquid can leak out and cause blisters or chemical burns. Health Canada says the distributor has no reports of injuries in Canada, but there have been 19 reports of leakage causing skin irritation in the U.S.
