Podcast Lounge relaunches on Windows 10 Mobile & PC as a UWP app

Podcast Lounge has rebooted itself as a new Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app called Podcast Lounge 2 in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 Mobile Windows phones and Windows 10 PCs. Podcast Lounge 2 is a complete redesign of the original Podcast Lounge app and features a host of returning and new features. Here’s some of its features users can expect. Podcast Lounge 2 is free to download and try for 30 days after which the background syncing and download functionality will cease to function.

Igneous Software has announced that the Universal Windows Platform (UWP) version of Podcast Lounge is now available on Windows 10 Mobile devices and Windows 10 PCs. The podcast app has been relaunched on the Microsoft Store as Podcast Lounge 2 for $6.89 (€6.89 in Europe, £5.79 in the UK), featuring a new design and the same range of capabilities as the original edition released in 2012. That’s how this week feels. We’ve already reviewed Suzy Cube and honestly, you should already be playing it. Another iPhone screen protector saves the day

These Omoton glass phone screensavers are really doing their job. Before riding off I thought I put my iPhone 7+ back in the chest pocket of my motorcycle jacket. Half a block later I learned I had missed the pocket and the phone slipped out, hitting the asphalt. After parking, I picked up my phone and saw that the screen protector had a spider web of cracks in it, but the phone it self was just fine. I rode home, peeled off the broken one and put on a new one. Got a few months out of that last one.

Fortnite Android release news as stunning new Epic Games Mobile update is revealed

The Fortnite Android release will be big for Epic Games Battle Royale fans have flocked to the Mobile version of the game since its launch earlier this year on iOS. And while still without a solid release date for the Fortnite Android port, the development team have confirmed that it will be made ready during summer 2018. When it does arrive it could be a big day for fans, and an even bigger one for Epic Games. Microsoft News now official, rolling out to everyone on iOS and Android

Microsoft today unveiled its latest news venture, appropriately under the banner of Microsoft News. The refreshed platform, Microsoft says, will power all of its news content across its news apps on Android and iOS, as well as MSN on the web and the News app on Windows 10. Microsoft has been telegraphing this refresh for a while. The first major step came when the MSN News apps for Android and iOS saw a design overhaul in January, bringing a much more modern look on mobile devices.

The massively popular battle-royale title Fortnite is the third most successful mobile launch ever, earning $100 million USD in its first 90 days on Apple’s App Store. According to analytics platform Sensor Tower, the free-to-play game has earned its riches from in-game purchases of cosmetics and battle passes that offer exclusive rewards to unlock. The game hit half of what it’s made in May, putting its grand total behind breakout mobile titles Clash Royal and Pokèmon GO.

Microsoft To-Do for Windows 10 gets handful of new settings and fixes

Microsoft’s To-Do app for Windows 10 has picked up some new tweaks and settings in its latest update. Now rolling out to everyone, the latest version of To-Do includes some fresh ways to customize your “My Day” page, along with a fix for recurring to-dos that weren’t showing up there. The biggest change you’ll notice is that you can now choose from several different options for backgrounds on My Day. Further, Microsoft says it has improved its bulk editing feature so you can now edit due dates for multiple groups that have different due dates.
